FanDuel Fantasy Advice - November 24

It’s Thanksgiving week, and right now, do you know what the Blazers squad is most thankful for? Some rest. There are only two games this week, one against a playoff-bound heavyweight (the always-tough Chicago Bulls) and one against a lottery-bound rival (the Los Angeles Lakers, in which records get thrown out the window). With all the downtime, the Portland starters will likely get all the minutes they want, so FanDuel players should plan to focus on the starting five.

Damian Lillard

With Mr. Lillard, we can’t talk about next week without talking about Sunday. In a convincing 107-93 road win against the aforementioned Lakers, Dame blew up the box score, notching 30 points and a career-high 13 assists. Since Chicago’s Derrick Rose is nursing a sprained ankle, look for more of the same from Damian against the Bulls.

C.J. McCollum

And speaking of that Lakers game, C.J. blew up a few box scores of his own, notching 19 points, five assists, four rebounds, two steals and two blocks, good for 36 FanDuel points. McCollum continues to put up elite FanDuel numbers for a reasonable FanDuel cap hit, so users are recommended to ride him as long as possible.

Al-Farouq Aminu

Aminu is evolving into one of the best NBA values in all of FanDuelLand. Last week, he notched consecutive double-doubles against Houston and the Clippers, and will look to repeat the feat in this week’s pair of games. He’ll be matched up with Jimmy Butler on Wednesday, so it might be wise to hold off on inserting him into your FanDuel lineup until the rematch against the Lakers.

Mason Plumlee

Too bad FanDuel doesn’t offer points for pick-and-rolls, because Mason is becoming quite the expert. His communication with Lillard is getting tighter every game, and while you can’t expect them to evolve into Stockton and Malone, they are legit. The tighter they get, the more assists Plumlee racks up, and the more assists Plumlee racks up, the happier FanDuel players will be.

Noah Vonleh

While Noah has been the de facto starter, the power forward position has been a bit of a revolving door. The second year man from Indiana is due for a breakout performance, and the clash against the Lakers and their own second year man, Julius Randle, might just be the day.
