Brandon Roy’s mid-air, switching-hands layin against Toronto, probably the single most viewed highlight by a Blazer player this season, defies description. Some might call it Jordan-esque. Others would describe it as simply unbelievable. Either way, it goes down as one of the signature moves of Roy’s career, not to mention recent Trail Blazers history.

A couple of things make this moment special. First, it’s an incredibly athletic move, especially in traffic. Roy goes around Anthony Parker and in between Kris Humpries and Chris Bosh. All three are average to above average defenders.

Roy was sick with the flu that day as well, which only adds more Jordan-ocity to the mystic of the move. He lead the Blazers that night in points (25), rebounds (nine) and assists (eights). Portland won the game 101-96.
