"His fakes are killer. He gets so many defender in the air, drawing fouls(which refs don't call a lot of times!).

I got to stop underestimating Roy. Last spring, I was hoping the Blazers draft Adam Morrison, my friend changed my mind, which I'm glad for. But I still thought that he will be a solid support player, not our 1st, or even 2nd option. This is Roy's first year in the league and as far as I'm concerned, he already is our go-to guy.

And I also agree about his intelligence. He's got the body, the skills, but what sets him apart is his basketball I.Q. This rookies makes sound decisions out there on the court like he's been playing in the league for a while."
- Shintaro
"It's obvious that we got something special on draft day (well, 3 special things, specifically).
But Brandon definately is a keeper.
He is no doubt the most consistent player from the draft. He has his off nights... shooting-nights, specifically, but compared to the other draftees? Not only is he consistent, he is clutch...
In the words of Z-BO: "If Roy doesn't win R.O.Y., man, that's just a crime.

So.. Roy for R.O.Y.!"
- Teddy Wise
"Who thinks Brandon Roy will be the rookie of the year. I think he is by far the best rookie."
- Gavin Drake
