Suns Beat Trail Blazers, End Up 41-41

Travis Outlaw scored 24 points and had 12 rebounds for Portland, which finished 41-41 and missed a chance for its first winning record since 2002-03.

"All losses are disappointing,'' coach Nate McMillan said. "These guys have worked hard all season long. You come in here and you have an opportunity and that's what you want, an opportunity to win the game. But you've got to shoot the ball better.''

Blazers finish home schedule by sweeping Grizzlies

James Jones hit a career-high tying six 3-pointers and had 20 points to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a 113-91 victory Tuesday over the Memphis Grizzlies and a shot at a winning record. The victory also gives Portland their first Memphis sweep since the 1998-99 season.

Brandon Roy had 16 points and 11 assists for Portland (41-40), back over .500 with one game left this season, Wednesday night at Phoenix. The Blazers have not finished with a winning record since the 2002-03 season.

The 2007-08 season featured a wealth of memorable Trail Blazer moments. The 13-game winning streak. Beating the L.A. Lakers twice at home. Nate McMillan’s Coach of the Month award. Brandon Roy’s back-to-back Player of the Week honors. There seem to be so many special memories from the 07-08 season that picking a favorite is all but impossible.

So instead of picking one, we compiled ten of the most memorable moments from this season. We asked players, coaches, fans and staff to choose their favorite memories from a year full of good times. After that, we trimmed the list down to the ten best. It wasn’t easy.
