Michael Redd dishes out 150 Thanksgiving dinners to local Milwaukee families
November 16, 2007 MILWAUKEE -- For the third consecutive year, Michael Redd spread Thanksgiving cheer by distributing 150 Thanksgiving dinners to Milwaukee area families on Friday, November 16. He distributed 2,800 pounds of turkeys donated by Honeysuckle White as part of the Roundy's-Pick 'n Save "More to Share" program. The turkeys, along with all of the traditional fixings, were funded by Redd. The entire event took place at the House of Peace Community Center. The distribution by Redd was part of the House of Peace Holiday Food Basket Program. The House of Peace Community Center has been providing food and clothing to the area's needy ince 1968.
