Dance experience:
Since the age of four I have taken tap, ballet, jazz, and tumbling classes at various dance studios. In junior high school I was also on a competition dance team known as the Palatine Strutters. We traveled all over for different competitions and even competed in Orlando, Florida at the Wide World of Sports. In high school I was on the cheerleading team at St. Viator High School. By my senior year I was captain of the varsity team.
Since high school I have been coaching a cheerleading team in Arlington Heights at St. Peters Lutheran School. Since coaching there the team has won first place every year at their Menomonee Falls competition and first place in their state competition in 2006.
Career goals:
To finish college at DePaul University with a degree in secondary education and a concentration in Biology. I would then like to teach high school biology at a school in the city.
Lifetime goal:
To become a great teacher that inspires children to expand their minds and to leave a lasting impression on them.

Most unusual job:
When I was in fifth grade I had a job as a “paper girl” delivering papers to people in my neighborhood. That job only lasted about three weeks.
Most people don’t know this about me:
I have a secret crush on Jackass’s Bam Margera.
My most embarrassing moment was:
After receiving my high school diploma, I tripped walking off the stage in front of my entire graduating class and their families.
My passions are:
Dance, all types of sciences, and living life to the fullest.

Any and all candy

Has to ultimately be Fight Club, but I love all movies with Brad Pitt.

If I could vacation anywhere I’d:
Go to any tropical, secluded island with all the amenities imaginable.

My roommate Kristen because she shows me what it means to have strength.
My proudest accomplishment to date is:
When I went to Denver, Colorado for a Catholic Heart Mission Trip in 2003, were we helped repair houses in under privileged communities. It was definitely a humbling experience and one of my proudest moments.
What is the best advice you could give to children?
Be thankful for the things you have in your life.
What is the best gift you have ever received?
Being blessed with a family that is always there for me and supports me in anything I do.
Name two people you would like to have dinner with:
Any one of my grandparents because they died before I got a chance to know them.
What would you like to be doing in five years?
I would like to be teaching biology in the city and hopefully still doing something with dance.
