Overland Park, KS

Occupation:
Marketing

Marital Status:
Single

College:
Loyola University Chicago

Nickname(s):
Baxter

Dance Experience:
When I was 4 years old my mom enrolled me in a tap and tumbling class and I fell in love with it. I’ve been dancing ever since and have trained in tap, jazz, ballet, modern, lyrical and hip hop. I also did competitive gymnastics for a number of years.

I was a member of the Notre Dame de Sion high school dance team for four years. During which time we won our state competition multiple times, and placed at nationals. I spent three years on the Loyola University Chicago Dance team, dancing at men’s basketball home games and other various events. This is my second year as a Luvabull, and I am so excited for all of the new experiences and challenges that lie ahead.

Career Goals:
I hope to continue my career marketing, and eventually I would like to own my own business.

Lifetime Goal:
Spend time traveling the world for work or play, and to one day start a family.

Three words that describe me are:
Driven, Spontaneous, Outgoing

Best advice or quote:
“In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on.” – Robert Frost

I’m happiest when…
I’m relaxing with people I care about.

My claim to fame is…
Being a Chicago Luvabull

Most unusual job:
It wasn’t an ongoing job, but I was one of “Santa’s helpers” on Oprah’s Favorite Things show in 2004.

Most people don’t know this about me…
I am afraid of heights.

My most embarrassing moment was…
During a basketball game my sophomore year of college I was standing on the sideline and not paying attention to the game. One of the players from the opposing team passed the ball, no one caught it and it hit me right on the side of my face. The whole audience made a collective “ohhhhhh.” I had a giant red circle on my face from where the ball hit me. My team now uses it as a warning to the new girls about what not to do.

My passions are…
Dancing, traveling, learning, and experiencing as much as I can.

Luvabulls

Favorite food:
I love Thai food and cheese, preferably not together.

Favorite movie:
Dirty Dancing, I’ve loved it since I was 4 years old.

Favorite book:
Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen

I stay home to watch:
I don’t have any regular shows right now, but when I have time the food network is usually on.

If I could vacation anywhere, I’d…
I have a very long list of places that I would like to visit. At the moment Australia and Ireland are at the top, but I can’t think of anywhere I wouldn’t want to go.

The person/people I most admire are…
My mom is the bravest and most loving person I know. She is my hero.

My proudest accomplishment to date is…
Graduating on time and successfully starting my life after college.

What is the best advice you could give to children?
Don’t sweat the small stuff; chances are you’ll be laughing about it in a few years.

What is the best gift you have ever received?
The love and support of my friends and family, they help keep me sane.

Name two people you would like to have dinner with:
Two family members.

What would you like to be doing in five years?
“If you want to make God laugh tell him your plans.” – Folk Proverb. In five years I hope that I am happy, healthy and challenged in whatever I am doing. I have an idea of where I want to go but I like to see where life takes me, it always turns out to be better than anything I could have imagined.
