Dance Experience:
I have been dancing since the age of 6. I’ve had studio training in tap, ballet, jazz, and pointe. I danced for my high school pom squad for three years, my last year being captain. It was during high school when I was first introduced to hip-hop/funk and attended many hip-hop clinics. During my junior year, I had the opportunity to perform in the Walt Disney World Parade in Orlando, Florida, celebrating its 25th Anniversary.
At the University of Illinois, I was a member of the Illinettes Dance team for two years, cheering for the Fighting Illini football and basketball teams. I had the privilege of performing in the Superdome in New Orleans for the 2001 Sugar Bowl.
For the past 3 years, during the off-season, I have danced in a production called Endure, choreographed by the Chicago Luvabulls choreographer. I am looking forward to my fifth season as a Luvabull!
Career Goal:
I never thought I would be working with seniors, but I truly enjoy what I do. So for now, I hope to gain more knowledge and experience with all aspects of senior living. I would eventually like to get a Master’s Degree and be certified to teach high school Chemistry or Biology. I just hope to be happy wherever my career takes me!
Lifetime Goal:
To live life to the fullest, stay healthy and fit, be happy and successful in my career, and someday raise a family.

When I ran into a wall while performing live for the local news, promoting Luvabull auditions.

What is the best advice you could give to kids?
Don’t grow up too fast. Enjoy your childhood, where you’ll find some of your true friends and you don’t have any worries or obligations. Don’t ever give up, stay positive, and follow your heart.
What is the best gift you have every received?
Two small pillows my grandma made me when I was born.

What would you like to be doing in five years?
Have the ability to continue dancing and performing, reside somewhere else besides Chicago for a few years, and travel more.
