Bulls roll past Knicks

Nikola Mirotic scored 24 points to lead the Bulls to a 111-80 victory over the New York Knicks Saturday night at the United Center. Pau Gasol added 19 points and 12 rebounds and Jimmy Butler had 18 points and five steals for Chicago, who improved to 45-29. The Knicks fell to 14-60 on the season.

The Bulls came out fast leading the Knicks 28-17 after the first quarter behind 11 points and six rebounds from Gasol.

Mirotic scored 11 points in the second quarter as the Bulls used a 26-10 points in the paint advantage to build a 54-34 lead at the intermission.

The Bulls did not let up in the second half, at one point leading by 36 points en route to the blowout victory.

Next, the Bulls travel to Milwaukee to face the Bucks Wednesday night.
