The Incredibulls are the heartbeat of fan engagement for Bulls basketball games and community appearances.  They are the official STUNT and cheer team for the Chicago Bulls. In addition to creating memorable experiences for fans, the Incredibulls deliver elite level jaw dropping performances. We are looking for experienced cheerleaders who are confident, athletic, and energetic ambassadors for the Chicago Bulls.

To be a Chicago Incredibull, you must meet these minimum requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age by May 5th, 2024 and possess a valid ID
  • Must reside or be willing to commute to the Chicagoland area and have a reliable means of transportation
  • Must be extremely outgoing and willing to interact with Bulls fans of all ages at every game and community appearance
  • Must have a flexible schedule to attend games (including playoffs) and all rehearsals
  • Must have traditional cheerleading or gymnastics experience and be physically fit to perform high energy routines and elite stunting and tumbling skills

Things to know:

  • If selected for the team, a one- year contract and commitment are required, along with agreement to abide by rules and guidelines in the employee handbook
  • The Incredibulls role is a part-time seasonal position and team members are paid for all work. This includes, rehearsals, game day, appearances, photoshoots, meetings, etc. 
  • The Incredibulls primary purpose is to welcome and engage fans and help execute interactive promotions, contest and t-shirt tosses during games
  • The Incredibulls are separate from the Chicago Luvabulls dance team

Below is an overview of what to expect throughout the 2024-2025 audition process:

Clinic

Incredibulls Clinic: Sunday, May 5th, 2024 from 3:30-6:30 PM CST
Doors open one hour prior to each clinic
Location: James R. Jordan Boys & Girls Club
2102 W Monroe St, Chicago, IL 60612

This clinic is open to experienced cheerleaders 18+ and is designed to introduce and help prepare athletes to cheer at the professional level. You will work with the current Incredibulls and receive instruction and feedback from the coaching staff. During the clinic athletes will jump, stunt and tumble at their own ability level. Both co-ed partner and group stunting options are available. The clinic will also focus on crowd engagement. Beginner level skills will NOT be taught. 

Select candidates who excel will be eligible to receive a pass straight through to Training Camp, therefore skipping the first round video submission. It is not mandatory to attend the clinic in order to audition but highly recommended.

Clinic is $40.
Pre-registration (which includes waiver of liability) is required, and will open soon. 

Video Submission

Submissions open:  Wednesday, May 1st, 12:00AM CST
Submissions close: Thursday, May 9th, 2023 at 11:59 PM CST.

Training camp candidates will be announced via email on or before Monday, May 13th,  by 5:00 PM CST. 

Your submission has two parts. Here are the instructions (Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed): 

  1. Application submission link, which will include:
    • Your contact information
    • Primary and Secondary Stunting position 
    • Resume and 3 professional references (1 must be cheer-related)
    • Headshot photo upload (wear clothing of your choice, no hats or sunglasses)

2. Video submission link. Please edit the following requirements into ONE video file to upload to Greenfly, not to exceed 1:30. All recorded material should be recent.

  • 30 second Introduction: We want to see your personality!
    •  Full Name, age, hometown, what makes you unique? 
  • 60 seconds skills highlight reel
    • Include jumps, jumps to tumbling, highest level standing and running tumbling passes, highest level stunting skills with dismounts, and basket tosses

* You may be asked to demonstrate additional positions at in-person audition

*Non-tumblers are still encouraged to apply. Please show 10-15 seconds of spiriting/rallying 

Training Camp

Friday, June 7th, 5:00-9:00 PM CST
Saturday, June 8th, , 3:00-7:00PM CST

Doors open one hour prior to each camp.
Location TBD

Training camp is not open to the public. You must be selected from the clinic or have received an invitation from your video submission. Please be available for both dates and times. Athletes will participate in a rigorous and focused schedule of training in order to learn and improve skills. Be prepared to be interviewed, learn choreography, game day activations/contests, and be evaluated on jumps, tumbling, baskets and stunting technique. Athletes will also prepare an 8-eight count elite stunt sequence of choice with an assigned stunt partner/ group. Candidates may be cut at any point through training camp.

Final Audition

Sunday, June 9th, 2024, 9:00 AM CST

Doors open one hour prior to finals.
Location TBD

You will be evaluated on fan engagement skills, an elite stunt sequence and all skills and choreography taught during training camp. The final team announcement will be made following the event, as well as team fittings and orientation.
