In many ways, Sunday's Q-Vision at the Quicken Loans Arena had the feeling of commencement: the conclusion of a successful season and the celebration of new beginnings. For Cavaliers fans, watching the team come of age this year has created a sense of anticipation as the new era of Cleveland basketball gets underway.
Some 11,000 Cavalier fans turned-out to watch Game 7 against the Detroit Pistons, filling the lower bowl of the arena, fans and families watching the action courtside while being entertained by Moondog, the Scream Team, and the Cavalier Girls. It in many ways captured the show-time vibe that's been crackling throughout the venue the entire season, an energy that was the talk of the NBA throughout the post-season.
