A Motown Travel Guide to Pistonland and Surrounding Areas for the NBA Eastern Conference Finals
Showdown In Motown
By Matthew K. Weiland

Now it's time to have some fun. No stress. No frets. No exams. No regrets. Just spring-time basketball, backyard-style, with nothing left to lose and the world championship to gain.

Welcome, Cavalier fan, back to Fort Detroit.

With the Wine and Gold win on Friday night, the Cavs take on the Pistons of Detroit for the NBA Eastern Conference Finals with Cavalier nation once again on the road. And for the Cavalier convoys motoring west for tonight's Game 1 or Thursday's Game 2 at The Palace of Auburn Hills in tranquil Oakland County, Michigan, a feeling of road-trip commencement is in the air.

The south shore's a-coming north, ready to get its freak-on. Look-out, Michiana! Buckeye pilgrim's invading, and we're bringing our Canadian Soldiers with us! And for Wine and Gold warriors, if you're looking for places to plunder and pillage, we might just have some links for you.
