BOSTON – Boston Celtics forward Kelly Olynyk, Boston Celtics Co-owner and President of the Shamrock Foundation Stephen Pagliuca and Massachusetts Society Prevention of Cruelty to Children CEO and President Mary McGeown hosted 30 children at Canobie Lake Park, an amusement park located in Salem, New Hampshire, today to provide them with an unforgettable summer experience.

Olynyk and Pagliuca joined the children on various rides throughout the day including the Pirate Ship, one of Canobie’s most popular thrill rides in the amusement park. “I really enjoyed spending today with the children of MSPCC at Canobie Lake Park!” Olynyk said. “It’s great to see the smiles on their faces and provide them with encouragement and support.”

“MSPCC and the children and families we serve are so fortunate to have Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation in our corner,” said McGeown. “Their gift of time and their generous support give these children, some of whom have had difficult experiences in their lives, the opportunity to have fun and just be kids.”

The day concluded with a complimentary lunch and a musical performance treat from a One Direction tribute band.
