Boston Celtics Thank Fans for Support

BOSTON - The Boston Celtics organization and players will thank fans for all their support during the 2013-2014 regular season by hosting Fan Appreciation Night at their final regular season home game on Wednesday, April 16 against the Washington Wizards. The game will feature special video tributes and on-court performances, prize giveaways, and at the conclusion of the game a number of lucky season ticket members will receive a player autographed jersey directly from Celtics players to show their appreciation.

In addition, the Celtics and their corporate partners have planned exciting giveaways for fans in attendance, highlighted by a grand prize gift certificate for the “Legal Sea Food Fan of the Game”. Autographed Celtics Dancers Calendars and Alex & Ani Shamrock Foundation bangles will be presented by Alex and Ani after each dancer performance. The MA Lottery will be adding additional fans to their Lucky Row sweepstakes and the MA Lottery prize will be One Hundred (100) Celtics Instant Tickets distributed during the Mass Lottery Lucky Row Promotion. Also $100 Gift Certificates to the Celtics Store will be given out courtesy of JN Phillips Auto Glass. In addition, G2O Spa and Salon and Glow Tanning Centers of Newbury Street Gift Cards will be given out as well as Adidas gift cards and a Samsonite Hyper Space Carry On.

Pre-game, the Celtics will honor 40 year season ticket members with live PA recognition and name scroll on the video boards. After the game, a number of lucky Celtics season ticket members will be called to the famed parquet floor to receive a player autographed jersey directly from Celtics players

“Fan Appreciation night is an opportunity for the entire Celtics organization to thank our fans, sponsors, and community partners for their incredible support throughout the year,” Celtics President Rich Gotham said. “We are very appreciative of the loyalty our fans have show this season, continuing to make the TD Garden the best home court advantage in the NBA.”

Along with the giveaways, Celtics Forward Jared Sullinger will address the crowd prior to tip-off to thank fans for supporting the team throughout the 2013-2014 season.
