Anaheim Arsenal 2007 Draft Party at National Sports Grill

Join the Anaheim Arsenal for the 2007 NBA Development League Draft at National Sports Grill (450 North State College Blvd. Orange, CA 92868) this Thursday, November 1st from 4PM - 7PM. Enjoy FREE appetizers, beverages and meet some of the new Arsenal cheerleaders. Along with prize giveaways, attending Arsenal fans have a chance to win a new Anaheim Arsenal authentic Adidas jersey for the 2007-2008 Season. The Draft Party is a great opportunity for the Arsenal to meet family members, co-workers and local basketball fans.

The draft is "serpentine" or "snaked" which means the order will be reversed in each of the ten rounds. For example, after picking 9th, Anaheim's next selections will be the 20th and 37th overall.

"Selecting 9th and 20th in the draft will allow the team to acquire quality players and will help establish the lineup we want to lead the Arsenal into the playoffs," Arsenal team President Jeff Jones stated.

The Anaheim Arsenal is heading into its second season with Head Coach Reggie Geary leading the team. The Anaheim Arsenal selected former Northeast Conference Player of the year Corsley Edwards with the first overall pick in the 2006 NBA Development League Draft.

Arsenal Head Coach Reggie Geary stated, "We feel with the 9th and 20th selections we will find quality players that can help our team this season."
