Career Highlights: Finished his collegiate career ranked 15th in scoring, eighth in rebounding and fourth in block shots on Georgetown’s all-time lists. As a junior, helped to lead Georgetown to its first Final Four since 1985.
Senior (2007-08): Selected to The Associated Press All-America Second Team and the All-Big East First Team. Hibbert was the key cog in a senior class which led the Hoyas to a 100-36 record over his four years on campus. Led the Hoyas in scoring (13.4 ppg), rebounding (6.4 rpg) and blocks (2.2 bpg). Ranked third in the Big East with a .609 field goal percentage. Tallied season-highs with 25 points and 13 rebounds in a Big East Tournament victory over West Virginia.
Junior (2006-07): An All-NCAA East Regional First Team selection. Named to the All-Big East First Team and All-Big East Tournament Team. Led Georgetown in rebounding (6.9 rpg) and blocked shots (90), while ranking second in scoring (12.9 ppg). Shot a whopping .671 from the field. Connected on 12-of-13 free throws vs. West Virginia. Logged a career-best 27 points vs. Cincinnati. Collected 11 double-doubles, including five consecutive double-doubles in postseason play.
Sophomore (2005-06): Led Georgetown in rebounding (6.9 rpg) and blocked shots (54), and was second in scoring (11.6 ppg). Shot .590 from the field. A Second Team All-Big East selection. Recorded seven point-rebound double-doubles, including a 20-point, 14-rebound effort in an NCAA Tournament win over Ohio State.
Freshman (2004-05): Started 17 games and averaged 15.8 minutes per contest. Recorded two point-rebound double-doubles, including a 15-point, 14-rebound performance against Notre Dame. Ranked second on the team in blocks with 40.
Strengths: Tremendous size with increasing mobility as his game continues to mature. Capable rebounder and shotblocker. Soft touch and good hands around the basket make him a threat on both ends of the court.
