One game. One choice. That's what we're looking at for Friday. The only game on the slate is Lakers-Jazz Game 3. The Lakers are up 2-0 and haven't lost a postseason game yet, so we're not about to dip into that pool. We're saving them for the Conference Finals, NBA Finals, or later in this series if the Jazz should come back. We've already used Deron Williams (who got us a 32 in Game 1) and Mehmet Okur (who put together a 22 in Game 2). And we've saved Carlos Boozer, which is good, because Booz has come up with a decent but subpar 33 (good thing turnovers don't count against us) on Sunday and a sickly 19 on Wednesday. Let's face it, Boozer hasn't been himself (at least not consistently) for the last couple of months now. And he is obviously having a hard time finding a groove against the Lakers. Their superior length and quickness has him frazzled. So, I'm not exactly enthusiastic about this pick, but it's the only pick to make. The dropoff to Andrei Kirilenko is too much and the Lakers are playing too well to even think about using one of them. Let's just hope Carlos can at least repeat his Game 1 performance. A 33 or better would be acceptable.
