The Memphis Grizzlies are committed to working with surrounding communities to generate a positive impact throughout Memphis, Shelby County, and the Mid-South by supporting registered charities in the region through our Donations-In-Kind program.
Policies and Procedures
How to submit a Donation Request
The following elegibility criteria must be met and application information must be submitted as specified below:
Eligibility
Are you interested in donation for a school or basketball program? please click this link to be directed to information.
- All requests for autographed memorabilia are limited to auction and/or raffle activities designed to raise funds for registered charities in the Memphis, Shelby County, and Mid-South area. Preference is given to charities which serve youth where the funds go directly to those in need.
- Company must have 501 (c)(3) status.
- Due to the overwhelming amount of requests, memorabilia is limited to 1 request per organization during the Memphis Grizzlies fiscal year (July 1-June 30).
- Requests from non-profit associations fundraising for operating expenses.
- Requests for merchandise to be used as prizes or volunteer recognition gifts.

How to apply
- All requests must be submitted as a typed request on your company letterhead. We cannot accept requests via email.
- Please state the nature of the event, the date of the event, and how the funds will be used.
- Requests must be submitted at least eight (8) weeks prior to the date of the event for which the donation is needed.

Processing your request
- The Grizzlies Charitable Review Committee will make every effort to process your request at least three weeks prior to your event.
- Please do not inquire by phone (due to the high volume of requests received)
- All decisions made by the Grizzlies Charitable Review Committee are final.
Donation follow-up
- We ask that organizations, who receive a donation from the Memphis Grizzlies, submit the follow-up form (which will be enclosed in your package). Please specify the amount raised by our donation and the amount raised through the fundraising event.
- This form should be submitted to the Charitable Donations Review Coordinator at the above address within two weeks (or 14 days) of your fundraising event.
School and Basketball program requests
Due to the overwhelming amount of fundraising requests from schools and basketball programs, we are unable to consider these groups for autographed merchandise. However, as part of our team mandate to support children’s charities, education, and the development of the sport of basketball, we do provide for them in the following ways:
- The Memphis Grizzlies support schools with educational programs. These programs offer incentives for participation, and provide the opportunity to enter random draws for Grizzlies merchandise, home game tickets and player visits. For more information please call 901.205.1245.
