Grizzlies tip-off upcoming season with 2014 Round Town Tour

The Memphis Grizzlies will tip-off the upcoming 2014-15 season in festive settings throughout the Bluff City during the 2014 Round Town Tour, spanning from late-August into November.

The 2014 Round Town Tour will bring the Grizzlies’ brand of excitement to several major upcoming events, hosting Season Ticket MVPs at hospitality tents at the Memphis Music and Heritage Festival (Aug. 30-31), Levitt Shell (Sept. 7) and the Cooper Young Festival (Sept. 13). Food and beverages will be provided by Grizzlies corporate partners. Invited Season Ticket Holders will receive further details through MVP news e-mails.

The Grizzlies also will host an Open House at FedExForum on Saturday, Sept. 6 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. where fans will have the opportunity to “test drive” available seat locations for 2014-15 Season Tickets and Partial Plans before the single-game on-sale on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. In addition, the team will conclude training camp with Open Practice on Monday, Oct. 6 at 12:30 p.m. at FedExForum and will hold the annual Tip-Off Luncheon benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on Monday, Oct. 27.

Fans can also join the tour at the Grizzlies Riverfront Fitness Trail + Pop-Up Park at Tom Lee for the Grand Opening on Wednesday, Sept. 17 and Fitness Trail Tuesday events on Oct. 21 and Nov. 18. The Grizzlies also will host pop-up parties at Latimer Lake Park in Horn Lake, Miss. on Wednesday, Oct. 15 and the Lester Community Center in Memphis on Saturday, Oct. 25. Fans who sign up for Grizzlies E-News at select events during the 2014 Round Town Tour will receive a free preseason ticket voucher and be registered to receive news and information throughout the year. Regional caravan and event dates will be announced at a later time.

The 2014 Round Town Tour also will come to other events and Memphis fixtures, including the Chick-Fil-A 5K, Germantown Festival, South Main Trolley Night, Dragon Boat Races, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and a Downtown Boat Cruise among others.
