Memphis Grizzlies re-assign Jordan Adams to NBA Development League’s Iowa Energy

The Memphis Grizzlies re-assigned rookie guard Jordan Adams to the NBA Development League’s Iowa Energy, the Grizzlies’ exclusive D-League affiliate, the team announced today.

During his first assignment in Iowa, Adams (6-5, 209) totaled 20 points, seven rebounds and one assist in 31 minutes in an exhibition on Nov. 8 vs. Sioux Falls, which was played in Memphis at FedExForum. He was recalled from Iowa on Nov. 10. The 20-year-old is averaging 1.5 points, 1.3 assists and 0.75 steals in 10.1 minutes in four games for the Grizzlies this season.

The Atlanta native was selected by Memphis in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2014 NBA Draft after two seasons at UCLA (2012-14), where he averaged 16.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and a school-record 2.43 steals on .467 shooting in 30.2 minutes in 69 career games.
