Grizzlies back to winning ways with victory over Boston

The Memphis Grizzlies beat the Boston Celtics in a 117-100 decision at FedExForum, improving to a 11-2 record, remaining undefeated at home (7-0), and extending their regular season home winning streak to 21 games. The Grizzlies currently own the best record in the NBA and have tied the best start in franchise history (2012-13).

Marc Gasol led the team scoring a team-best and career high-tying 32 points and collecting eight rebounds in 30 minutes. Zach Randolph, the only Grizzlies player to score in double figures in every game this season, finished with his ninth double-double of the season, scoring 16 points and dominating the boards with a game-high 16 rebounds. Jon Leuer led the second unit finishing with a season-high 19 points and notching seven rebounds in 22 minutes.

Memphis welcomed back four players that missed Wednesday's contest in Toronto due to a stomach virus. The four returning Grizzlies (Kosta Koufos, Courtney Lee, Leuer, Beno Udrih) combined for 37 points on 16-of-29 shooting (.551).

The Grizzlies shot at .527 from the field, .500 from the 3 point line and .929 from the free throw line. This improved their record to 52-6 since the start of the 2011-12 season when shooting at least .500 from the floor.

The Grizzlies will tip-off again on Sunday, Nov. 23 at FedExForum against Western Conference rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers.
