Grizzlies announce NBA Summer League 2016 schedule

The Memphis Grizzlies will open their NBA Summer League 2016 schedule in Las Vegas on Friday, July 8 against the NBA Development League team, the NBA announced today.

The Samsung Summer League in Las Vegas features 24 teams competing in a 72-game schedule, where a tournament-style schedule will crown the NBA Summer League Champion on Monday, July 18. Teams will play three preliminary games – and a minimum of five games total – with all games taking place at the Thomas & Mack Center and COX Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Memphis’ preliminary round slate also includes tilts with the Denver Nuggets on Saturday, July 9 and Monday, July 11 against the Milwaukee Bucks.

NBA TV will televise a full slate of NBA Summer League games and live game action also will extend across digital platforms. Check grizzlies.com for exclusive content from Las Vegas.
