Memphis Grizzlies swingman Quincy Pondexter will help acclimate his new teammates, Vince Carter, Jarnell Stokes and Jordan Adams into Memphis by hosting a downtown bus tour with kids from Grizzlies Prep on Tuesday, Oct. 28
The bus will tour the players and students through several downtown landmarks in order to give a brief history and overview of Memphis and to introduce the new players to several of the Grizzlies’ most important community partners including Grizzlies Prep, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Stax Museum of American Soul Music and the National Civil Rights Museum.
Upon the tour’s arrival back to FedExForum at approximately 3:45 p.m., touring players will add to the excitement of the Grizzlies’ Opening Night by purchasing 500 tickets to be given away to Grizzlies fans inside the Grand Lobby of FedExForum. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and there will be a limit of two tickets per person.
