Hawks Draft Pick Nails Three Straight Half-Court Shots

Most basketball players can make a half-court shot.  Some may even get lucky and hit two in a row.  But three straight?  That's almost unheard of.

Atlanta Hawks fans may or may not remember 2015 second-round draft pick Marcus Eriksson.  Taken 50th overall by Atlanta, Eriksson is still under contract and will remain in Europe to play with FC Barcelona for the 2015-16 season.

The Swedish shooting guard tore his ACL in his first game of the year and missed the entire 2014-15 season.  Hawks General Manager Wes Wilcox said on draft night that he thought Eriksson would have gone higher in the draft if not for the injury, and Atlanta feels like they got a player who's better than 50th overall.

He began playing internationally in 2011 and is a lifetime 44% three-point shooter (228-520).  With those numbers, it should come as no surprise that he was able to make three straight half-court shots, though it's still impressive.  Take a look at the video below:
