Schröder Scores 20 In Germany's Loss

Poland beat Germany for the second time at the EuroBasket 2015 second qualifying round, sweeping the two-game group set and putting themselves in position to advance to the next round.

Atlanta Hawks point guard Dennis Schröder scored 20 points and added seven assists, his most productive game of the tournament so far, for Germany, but it wasn't enough in the 88-76 defeat.  Poland won the first game by one point.

Schröder notched his tournament high in both points and assists while also adding a rebound.

Germany is now 2-2 in group play and likely needs to win both of their remaining games in order to advance to the next round.  Even doing so doesn't guarantee advancement, as they'll need to finish second in the group and not be the worst second place team among all groups.
