Hawks Sign Jarell Eddie and Dexter Pittman

ATLANTA, GA -- The Atlanta Hawks have signed guard/forward Jarell Eddie and center Dexter Pittman, it was announced today by Head Coach Mike Budenholzer. Per team policy, terms of the agreements were not disclosed.

Eddie played the last four seasons at Virginia Tech, averaging team-highs of 13.3 points and 5.4 rebounds while adding 1.2 assists in 32.6 minutes as a senior in 2013-14. He started 30-of-the-31 games last season and finished second in the Atlantic Coast Conference with 80 three-pointers made. He participated in the 2014 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas with the Washington Wizards.

Pittman is a four-year NBA veteran who appeared in two contests off the bench for the Hawks last season. He has played in 50 career games with Miami, Memphis and the Hawks. He won a championship ring with the Heat in 2012.
