MIAMI, March 7 – Recognizing the burgeoning support of the NBA and its players in Latin American countries, plus the influx of Latin American players in the NBA, the Miami HEAT will participate in the inaugural NBA Noche Latina commemorative uniform program during the two upcoming home games against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday, March 9 and the Washington Wizards on Sunday, March 11. The HEAT join the Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns and the San Antonio Spurs, all teams with a significant Hispanic fan base, as participants in this new NBA initiative.

The HEAT NBA Noche Latina uniform is a black HEAT uniform that features the following special elements:

• The word “Miami” on the front of the uniform
• Special uniform piping element consisting of the flags of the 20 Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America and Brazil (Portuguese)
• A special NBA Noche Latina logo
• The traditional NBA logo in the Noche Latina colorway
• A special NBA Noche Latina supplemental jocktag

With the HEAT wearing a dark uniform at home, both the visiting Timberwolves and Wizards will wear their home white uniform during these two games.
