MIAMI, Oct. 14 - Miami HEAT President and Head Coach Pat Riley announced this afternoon that the team has requested waivers on guard Joe Crispin.
Crispin, who was signed as a free agent by the HEAT on Sept. 29, 2003, appeared in two of Miami’s four preseason contests and averaged 3.0 points and 10.5 minutes. He totaled six points, one assist and one steal in 21 minutes while shooting 1-9 (.111) from the floor, including 1-7 (.143) from three-point range, and 3-3 (1.000) from the foul line.
With the departure of Crispin, Miami’s roster now stands at 17 players.
