Miami center expected to miss a minimum of two weeks
O’Neal Suffers Sprained Right Ankle
MIAMI, Nov. 4 – The Miami HEAT announced today that MRI results this morning revealed center Shaquille O’Neal has a sprained right ankle. The injury occurred with 6:35 remaining in the fourth quarter of last night’s home opener against the Indiana Pacers after O’Neal came down on the foot of Ron Artest. O’Neal is expected to miss a minimum of two weeks. No further updates will be given before his return.
In two games this season he has averaged 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, a team-leading 3.50 blocks, 2.0 assists and 28.5 minutes. |
