Dwyane Wade to Appear on SportCenter’s "My Wish" Series
MIAMI, June 22 – HEAT guard Dwyane Wade will kick off ESPN’s 2007 award-winning SportsCenter “My Wish” series, which begins this weekend. Wade’s segment will debut on Sunday, June 24 at 10:30AM and re-air at 11PM the same night.
The series tells of the unique bond that athletes share with their fans by chronicling Make-A-Wish® children whose sports-related wishes were granted by the athletes. In Wade’s segment, 10-year old Noa Ornellas from Honolulu, HI gets to spend an afternoon with Wade at his home in Chicago. Other sports figures participating in the 2007 series include Jimmie Johnson, Michelle Kwan, Drew Brees and David Ortiz |
