Livingston Signed for Remainder of Season

The Utah Jazz signed guard Randy Livingston to a contract for the remainder of the season announced today by Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations, Kevin O’Connor. Livingston has played in five games for the Jazz this season and has averaged 1.8 points, 2.4 assists and 8.8 minutes per game. He was signed by the Jazz to a 10-day contract on March 2 and to a second 10-day contract on March 13.

Prior to joining the Jazz on March 2, Livingston played in 40 games for the Sioux Falls Sky Force this season and has averaged 13.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.1 rebounds in 36.6 minutes per game. The 6-4 guard out of LSU has played in 182 NBA games including 15 starts and has averaged 3.9 points, 1.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 13.5 minutes per game.

Originally drafted by the Houston Rockets in the second round (42nd pick overall) in the 1996 NBA draft, Livingston has seen action with the Rockets, Hawks, Suns, Warriors, Sonics, Hornets and Clippers.
