Knicks' Vegas Run Ends in Quarterfinals

After winning four straight games to advance to the Las Vegas Summer League tournament quarterfinals, an exciting run for the Knicks came to a close this afternoon. In a rematch with the same Hornets that New York handled a few days ago, the Orange and Blue made multiple comeback attempts, but ultimately fell short against Charlotte's balanced attack.

They trailed by as many as 15 points in the first half but cut the lead to two at halftime, and nearly stormed back from another double-digit deficit to pull to within three in the final minute but fell by a final score of 82-79.

As he did in all five games the Knicks played, Tim Hardaway Jr. led all scorers in this one with 27 points. Cleanthony Early concluded an impressive run here in Vegas with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
