Emotional leader of 1990s Knicks and the key figure in one of Madison Square Garden’s Defining Moments, formally returned to the organization when he was named to current position on Apr. 8, 2012...In his new post, LJ works closely with the basketball operations department (focusing on player development) and with the community relations department, working to support the Garden of Dreams Foundation and on fan development...Also works in tandem with the marketing and partnership departments, with involvement in numerous business initiatives...Quote: “Going out in the community is something I’ve done since I retired.
