NYK 80, CHI 111: Knicks Drop Back-to-Back

How it Happened

The shorthanded Knicks flew to Chicago to complete a back-to-back and the Bulls flexed their muscles as they cruised to a 111-80 win.

Pau Gasol, the NBA's leader in double-doubles, set the tone with 11 points and six rebounds in the 1st quarter and New York was unable to slow the Bulls from that point on.

Andrea Bargnani led the Knicks with 14 points and seven rebounds, Langston Galloway finished with 12 points and five rebounds and Rick Ledo scored 11 points in the loss. Shane Larkin dished out eight assists to go with six points.

Knick of the Night

Bargnani was the Knicks' go-to- offensive option, but he couldn't get going like he did on Friday -- when he scored 25 points against Boston -- against Chicago's imposing front line.

Next Up

The shorthanded Knicks have a few days to rest before Wednesday's matchup with Brooklyn at the Garden.
