In March, the Los Angeles Lakers and Fox Sports en Español partnered to present the 4th Annual HOLA BOWLA Charity Bowling fundraiser at the Pinz Bowling Center in Studio City, California. Lakers players Andrew Bynum and Trevor Ariza and the Laker Girls joined a group of children from the Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA) for an evening of food, fun, and of course, bowling!

Children were invited to bowl with the Lakers players and Laker Girls, take photos and receive autographs. Some lucky participants were awarded Lakers autographed memorabilia as raffle prizes.

All funds raised through this event were for the benefit of the Central City Basketball Association (CCBA), an inner-city youth league, and will help pay for team uniforms, equipment, facility fees and operating expenses. The CCBA is proudly sponsored by the Lakers Youth Foundation and HOLA and has served over 2,300 athletes since 1991.

The HOLA BOWLA Charity Bowling Fundraiser has enjoyed much success throughout the years, raising over $100,000 for the CCBA! The Los Angeles Lakers and the Lakers Youth Foundation are proud to partner with Fox Sports en Español, Heart of Los Angeles and the Central City Basketball Association to promote sportsmanship, teamwork and self-esteem among children in the Los Angeles community.
