OUTREACH

Whether by hosting a holiday party for kids, serving Thanksgiving dinner to a shelter, holding basketball clinics at inner city parks, or helping just one child feel special, the Lakers are constantly reaching out and offering support to the Los Angeles community. Over the years, the Los Angeles Lakers have partnered with numerous non-profit organizations in their outreach to show appreciation for the support of loyal Lakers fans.


4th Annual HOLA BOWLA Tournament
The Los Angeles Lakers and Fox Sports en Español partnered to present the 4th Annual HOLA BOWLA Charity Bowling fundraiser at the Pinz Bowling Center in Studio City, California. Lakers Host a Holiday Party for Kids
On Saturday, December 15, the Los Angeles Lakers and East West Bank continued the 2007-08 "A Season of Giving" campaign by hosting their annual Holiday Party for Kids. Lakers Host Third Annual Make-A-Wish Night
On Thursday, December 13th during the third annual Make-A-Wish Night at STAPLES Center, the Lakers took on the San Antonio Spurs and won! On this night, for every Lakers 3-Pointer, the Lakers Youth Foundation donated $500 to support the wishes of Los Angeles children with life-threatening medical conditions......more

2007 Lakers Paint The Town
On October 15, Lakers players Vladimir Radmanovic, Maurice Evans, Javaris Crittenton and Laker Girls, Jessica and Tiffany visited Nordstrom's at the Westside Pavilion Mall and 7-Eleven in Los Angeles. As part of the NBA Cares “Paint the Town” campaign, the players and Laker Girls visited these locations to surprise fans and generate excitement about the upcoming 2007-2008 season.....more
