Lakers home games are packed with activities for young Lakers fans! We offer a variety of game night opportunities for kids, from participating on our High Five Squad to being a Lakers Honorary Ball Kid for a game.

Sponsored by STAPLES, the Lakers Student and Teacher of the Month program allows for schools in the Los Angeles area to nominate outstanding teachers and students for a chance to be invited to and recognized at a Lakers home game

High Five Squad
At every Lakers home game, a group of young fans are randomly selected to participate in the High Five Squad. These lucky fans have the opportunity to line up courtside and high five the Lakers as they run onto the court for pre-game warm ups. The group is also displayed on the Lakers jumbotron during the game. On select games, groups will receive a free t-shirt for their participation in the High Five Squad.

Lakers Honorary Ball Person
On select Lakers home games, the Honorary Ball Person will help out during pre-game and half time warm-ups by rebounding balls, handing out towels, and distributing water. A special guest for the evening, the Honorary Ball Person will sit courtside for the game and can bring two guests to the arena to share this exciting experience! Lakers Giveaway Groups
Throughout the season the Los Angeles Lakers will pass out giveaways to fans as they enter the STAPLES Center during home games. We invite youth groups to come out and volunteer their time and in exchange we offer tickets to the game and complimentary parking. These opportunities can be used by community groups as rewards or incentives for kids who are responsible and demonstrate great teamwork with their peers.
