Please be advised of the following dates below where scheduled events at the Bob Carr Center and Amway Arena may result in limited parking availability:

April 10 – 15 - SunTrust Broadway presents 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE
(Magic game 4/15)

Parking and Traffic Advisory for Sunday, April 15, 2007
On Sunday April 15, 2007 four events will be taking place in the areas of the Centroplex and Downtown Orlando, with an estimated 40,000 people expected in attendance. The Centroplex, Orlando Police Department and venue partners have taken proactive steps to ensure accessibility to and from the events for visitors to the City’s vibrant Downtown core.

The City has provided additional parking at the Bank of America Parking Garage with a free shuttle service, additional law enforcement presence and the new, 1650 AM Traffic and Parking Broadcast. Traffic and parking updates can be heard on 1650 AM the day of the event.

Centroplex and Downtown Events on Sunday, April 15, 2007:
• The 20th Annual Medina Festival, an outdoor Latin festival, will take place on Orange Avenue between 12:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
• SunTrust Broadway Across America – Orlando is presenting the “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center at 12:30 pm and 7:30 pm.
• The Orlando Magic vs. the Boston Celtics game tips off at 6:00 pm at the Amway Arena.
• Fiesta in the Park at Lake Eola from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

The following streets will be closed to traffic during the Medina Festival and Fiesta in the Park events;
• Orange Avenue from Colonial Drive to Robinson Street
• Amelia between Magnolia and Garland
• Livingston Street between Magnolia and State Lane
• Robinson Street between Rosalind Avenue and Eola Drive
• Central Avenue between Rosalind Ave and Eola Drive

The Orange County Courthouse Garage will be open, but due to the road closure on Amelia Street, pedestrians will not be able to walk west on Amelia towards the Amway Arena. An alternate parking garage at the Bank of America building on Livingston Street will be open on Sunday with free, Lymmo service available to the Amway Arena and Bob Carr PAC.

Lymmo
Lymmo will be running a different route on Sunday due to Livingston Street being closed. Rather than traveling on Livingston Street to the Amway Arena, the Lymmo route will be traveling down Robinson Street. All normal stops on its route will be available except for those on Livingston Street. It is highly recommended to park at the garages downtown and take the Lymmo to the events.

Orange County Courthouse Garage (East Amelia Street)
The County Courthouse will have limited parking due to the Medina Festival. Lymmo will not be running from the County Courthouse on Sunday, it will be running the alternative route listed above.

Centroplex Parking Lots
Parking in Centroplex lots and garages will be limited to those who have a ticket to the Centroplex events being held at the Amway Arena and the Bob Carr PAC.

Free Shuttle Service
Free shuttle service will run from the Bank of America Building Garage (State Lane and Livingston Street at the railroad track.) Drop off and Pick up will be in front of the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre.

Traffic Enforcement Officers will be present during all hours of the Downtown events providing alternative routes if necessary and assisting with any potential traffic concerns.

CENTROPLEX ON-SITE PARKING SOLD OUT – USE ALTERNATE PARKING OPTIONS!

If you do not have reserved parking, be advised that on-site parking at the Orlando Centroplex is SOLD OUT. Please plan your parking arrangements accordingly and refer to the map below for additional parking options.

Courthouse Garage
For your convenience, we strongly urge you to park at the Courthouse Garage on 46 E. Amelia Street. If you purchase a pre-paid Courthouse Advantage Card, the cost is only $4.00 a game. The cost with no reservation is $5.00 a game. There is also a free Lymmo Shuttle that will take you from the garage to Livingston Street and drops off at the Centroplex II Garage across from the arena. Downtown Library Garage
Parking is also available at the Downtown Library Garage with entrances on East Central Boulevard and East Pine Street; the garage is a half block from the free Lymmo Shuttle stop at the corner of Magnolia Avenue and Central Street. Rate are $1.00 per hour to $10.00 maximum and the garage is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Bank of America
Parking is also available at the Bank of America tower, located at 390 North Orange Avenue and Livingston Street. Event rates are $5.00.
