Two of the area's biggest sporting attractions were represented on Monday afternoon during a friendly game of H-O-R-S-E.
NASCAR driver Jeff Burton was in Orlando to promote the July 7th Pepsi 400 at Daytona International Speedway and stopped by the RDV Sportsplex to meet Orlando Magic guard J.J. Redick.
Burton, driver of the No.31 AT&T Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing, confessed to Redick that his family have been Duke fans for many years and that Burtons have seats at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Burton flew into Orlando after competing yesterday at Pocono where rain cut short to race after 105 laps. He finished 13th.
After a brief introduction to the media in attendance, Burton and Redick got started on a game of horse.
With Orlando Magic community ambassador Nick Anderson serving as the emcee of the event and Daytona International Speedway president Robin Braig serving as guest referee, it was no surprise to see Redick come out on top.
"I let Jeff get a couple of letters on me," Redick said.
While he's never been to a race, Redick said he's followed the sport for a long time. Redick joked that he knew they drove around in a circle for about three hours.
"I grew up in Roanoke, Virginia and Martinsville is like 45 minutes from there. Richmond and Bristol are also big tracks in that area," Redick said. "I've always been a casual fan, but I think after today I might actually be a Jeff Burton guy."
