A DIFFERENT WAY FOR LEAVING AMWAY ARENA
Season ticket holders and people buying tickets online should be aware of the future changes to the way they go home if they use I-4 to go west or south of the Amway Arena or Bob Carr Performing Arts Center. As part of the construction of the I-4 and SR 408 interim interchange project, the westbound I-4 on-ramp near Robinson Street (A) will close permanently by the end of October 2007. A new westbound I-4 ramp (B) near Amelia Street will be opening at the same time. Click Here for More Info

The DeVos family purchased the Orlando Magic in September of 1991. At that time, family head Rich DeVos stated that the DeVos family is simply the team’s current caretaker, making it clear that the real owners of the NBA franchise would continue to be the Central Florida community and the loyal Magic fans. Since purchasing the team, the franchise has won two Atlantic Division Championships (1995, 1996), one Eastern Conference title (1995) and had three 50-win seasons, including a franchise record 60 victories in 1995-96. The Magic have advanced to the playoffs eight times and finished with a .500 record or better 11 of the last 14 seasons.

Thank you for supporting the Orlando Magic as we continue to move in a very positive and exciting direction.

We have a cohesive, young, talented core of players led by cornerstones Dwight Howard – a 2007 All-Star and arguably the best center in the NBA – and point guard Jameer Nelson. The Magic has smart and disciplined leadership with a team that plays with heart night after night. We’re convinced that our young basketball team has the right character and chemistry to compete for a championship.

Make no mistake, our family ownership group is determined to bring Orlando a title. That’s our ultimate goal. We aren’t satisfied with anything less and we know you aren’t either. We want a team that makes our community proud – on and off the court.

Improving the fan experience is as important to us as achieving success on the basketball court. We are continuing to look at ways to add value to your season ticket holder experience. Benefits to our Season Ticket Holders include: affordable pricing and significant savings over single-game gate prices, convenient payment options, pay in full incentives, more opportunities to get closer to the Magic players and coaches, and a dedicated account services representative to assist you throughout the season.

While some price increases were necessary in the locations that had the highest demand, we continue to offer more than 8,417 seats priced at $25 or under per game and our Season Ticket Holders will experience an average savings of 12.5% over single game gate prices.

Thank you again for your ongoing commitment to the Magic. We value the enthusiasm, support, passion and energy you bring us as we continue moving in the right direction. We could not do it without you.

More magic to come,

Bob Vander Weide
President and CEO

Seat Relocation & Additional Seat Information
It is your opportunity, as a season ticket holder, to relocate or upgrade your seats. This offseason, we are excited to offer Magic season ticket holders the opportunity to participate in our 2nd Annual Seat Relocation/Upgrade Event scheduled to take place at the Amway Arena in early June. At this event, you will be able to pick the seat you want, where you want it. Available inventory will be based on locations from non-renewed season ticket accounts and those season ticket accounts with earlier Priority Dates that have already relocated their seats. You will also have the opportunity to purchase additional seats for your account. Additional seat requests from cancelled inventory will be filled following completion of the Seat Relocation/Upgrade Event in Priority Date order.

Please note that each account will be assigned a specific time slot for the Seat Relocation/Upgrade Event based on Priority Date. Your Priority Date is the date you first purchased Magic season tickets. For instance, our earliest Priority Date is June 19, 1986. If you’ve added seats to your account since your first year as a season ticket holder, the priority date for the additional seats is the day you purchased them.

If you wish to relocate or add seats to your account, please make sure that you indicate this on your renewal invoice. After your initial renewal payment is made, additional information for the Seat Relocation/Upgrade event will be mailed to you. We look forward to seeing all of our season ticket holders take advantage of this great opportunity.

Please note that no relocations or additions will be permitted without your initial payment, so make sure to submit your renewal to us by April 2, 2007 to be eligible for the Seat Relocation/Upgrade Event.

I-4/SR 408 Interchange Updates

Project Overview
Construction of the I-4/SR 408 interim interchange, Central Florida’s largest roadway project to date, began on April 3, 2006 with major improvements to the original design that enhance safety and traffic flow. The project, a partnership between the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority, adds a flyover ramp from each direction of SR 408 to eastbound Interstate 4, reducing an existing bottleneck and decreasing travel time for commuters. The $119 million SR 408 interim interchange improvements are scheduled for completion in three years.

Design Improvements
The interchange improvements will also encompass better drainage by incorporating new ponds, a new two-way Anderson Street Bridge and enhanced aesthetic treatments to maintain the sense of style associated with downtown Orlando. The specific design improvements include:

• New flyover ramps from SR 408 in both directions to eastbound I-4
• Redesign of South Street to two-way traffic from Division Avenue to Magnolia Avenue
• Reconstruction of the Anderson Street bridge including two-way traffic from Division Avenue to Rosalind Avenue
• Reconfigured I-4 westbound exit ramp to Anderson Street and new I-4 eastbound entrance ramp from Anderson Street
• Closing of the existing westbound I-4 entrance ramp from South Street
• Closing of the westbound I-4 exit ramp at Gore Street
• Closing ofthe westbound I-4 entrance ramp from Robinson Street
• Closing of the eastbound I-4 exit ramp to Robinson Street
• Two new westbound I-4 entrance ramps from Hughey Street (near Amelia Street and from South Street)
• New eastbound I-4 exit ramp to downtown at Garland Avenue and South Street

Expected Impacts
Throughout the project, current lane capacity will be maintained during the day on I-4 and SR 408. However, construction impacts may include nighttime lane closures between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., as well as lane shifts. In the downtown Orlando area near I-4, there may be temporary parking restrictions and traffic signal timing changes. Temporary nighttime lane and road closures that impact side streets will also occur.
