FRED MANGIONE

VICE PRESIDENT OF TICKET SALES AND SERVICES

In his eighth season with the Nets, Fred Mangione was promoted in the spring of 2005 to his current position as Vice President of Ticket Sales. With over 50 staff members reporting to Fred, he is responsible for all aspects of ticket sales, including implementing ticket plans, servicing season and partial plans and group bookings. In his first two seasons as Vice President,Mangione’s staff broke team records in revenue and tickets sold. Driven by event marketing initiatives such as the “Influencer Program” and “Pancakes and Hoops”, Mangione and his staff has increased sales by over 15% from the previous two seasons.

Prior to joining the Nets, Mangione was the director of sales for the 1999 Women’s World Cup Giants Stadium venue. Under his direction, over 78,000 seats were sold, making it the biggest non-football event ever attended at Giants Stadium. Mangione has been involved with sports teams since graduating college in 1993. His career began with emerging professional sports teams which included minor league hockey and arena football.

A native of Jefferson, New Jersey, Fred received his B.S. in business management & marketing from Centenary College. He resides in Glen Rock, New Jersey with his wife, Jennifer, daughter, Madeline, and son, Mason.
