The Art of Sport is one of the Nuggets most popular programs. Students are encouraged to use their creativity and originality while participating in fun projects that incorporate sports and the arts.

The program is open to students in grades K-5 in the seven-county Denver metropolitan area. Participating classrooms receive sports-themed art books containing a variety of activities including coloring and tracing.

At the conclusion of the program, students are invited to submit an original piece of artwork using ink, marker, crayon, pencil or paint to the Denver Nuggets Community Relations Department. Winning students are eligible to receive a variety of prizes including a tour of the Denver Art Museum, a session of pottery painting or throwing pots on the wheel, player appearances, team merchandise, and/or game tickets!

Last season, over 5,000 students from 175 classrooms in the Denver metro area participated in the program.

This program is for schools only; individual requests will not be accepted.
