Nuggets Recall Green from Colorado 14ers
DENVER, Apr. 16 -- The Denver Nuggets have recalled guard Taurean Green from the Colorado 14ers of the NBA Development League, team Vice President of Basketball Operations Mark Warkentien announced today. Green was assigned to Colorado on Apr. 5 and appeared in four games with the 14ers, averaging 15.3 ppg, 4.0 apg and 4.2 rpg in 28.8 minutes. Earlier in the year he was assigned to the Idaho Stampede while a member of the Portland Trail Blazers. He averaged 19.3 ppg, 9.8 apg and 5.3 rpg in 38.0 minutes during that four-game stint. As a rookie this season, Green has appeared in 17 games for the Blazers and Nuggets. He has averaged 1.1 ppg in his nine appearances with Denver thus far.
