On Monday, Nov. 19, the Indiana Pacers will host over 550 men, women and children from area downtown missions for Thanksgiving Dinner at Conseco Fieldhouse. The event will be held in the Entry Pavilion of Conseco Fieldhouse from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. Sponsors for this event include American Dairy Association, Dicks Sporting Goods, Finish Line, Grabber Handwarmers, Hormel Hams, Levy Restaurants, Marsh Supermarkets, Norbest, Republic Services of Indiana and Tamika Catchings.

Members of the Indiana Pacers, including players, coaches and training staff will be on hand to help serve dinner, mingle with the guests, and provide goody bags. Other guests expected to attend include members of the Indiana Pacemates, Boomer and Bowser.

Everyone in attendance will receive a Pacers tote bag, which will include a blanket, hat, gloves, socks, towel, washcloth, deodorant, handwarmers, toothbrush, toothpaste and soap.

The dinner is being prepared by Levy Restaurants.

Area downtown missions included in this event are Care Center, City Lights, Good News Mission, Holy Family, Outreach Inc., Second Helpings and Wheeler Mission Ministries

This event is not open to the public. Participants must have a special wristband to gain admittance.
