Jamaal Magloire had a breakout second season in which he nearly doubled his production as a rookie. This has been a great boone to the Hornets who have relied on him for a spark off the bench. Magloire scored 16 points and grabbed nine boards in Charlotte's Game 3 victory over the Nets and then had five points as the Hornets fell in Game 4. The team now plays in what could be their final game as the Charlotte Hornets.

At shootaround on Wednesday before Game 5, Magloire answered fan e-mail.

What is the mentality of the team going into tonight's Game 5?
Brad
Elko, Nev.

Magloire: Very serious-minded, very aggressive and very assertive.

We're very sad that you are moving to New Orleans. What has been your favorite part of playing for the Hornets in Charlotte?
Susie
Durham, N.C.

Magloire: I am very appreciative of the fans that we do get. I thought that although we don't get the packed houses every night, the fans were very supportive. It was a good atmosphere to experience. I think Charlotte is a nice city as well, so it was a good experience.

I firstly wanted to say I think you have made huge strides in improving your offensive game since your days in Kentucky. The Raptors could definitely use you at the centre position. I was wondering if you planning to play on the Canadian National basketball team for the next international competition?
Marc
Toronto, Ontario

Magloire: I think that's something I'll seriously sit down and think about once the season's over. Our season's so draining but I could see myself playing for the team if the coach wanted me to and it would be a good situation for us both. I gotta be healthy and as of right now, I'm not so it's going to be a decision I'm going to have to make when the season's over with.

You were my favorite player of all time at Kentucky, so my question, is do you miss Kentucky and why? Remember in my heart you'll always be!!!! So win the game tonight for me! Your No. 1 fan,
Brandy
Manchester, Ken.

Magloire: Yeah, I think just my teammates and my friends that I left behind there. College was a great experience and I loved getting to play at Rupp Arena.

Jamaal, first of all, good luck in the playoffs from a " BIG WILDCAT " fan! Is it good to have another "Wildcat" on the team with you? Is it difficult to play against your ex-teammates?
Shannon
Morgantown, Ky.

Magloire: I think I'm used to it now that I'm in my second year in the league. It's just good to see them because I'm not as fortunate to see the guys who are at Kentucky now.

Do you enjoy coming off from the bench or being a starter?
Suigang
New York

Magloire: My mentality is very much the same either way and that is to go out there and wear my opponent down and do whatever it takes to win.
