Chase Budinger

Bio: 6-7, 215 pounds, 27 years old

2015-16 Stats: 3.2 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 51.1 FG%, 17 games

Offseason Status: Unrestricted free agent

Season in Review: Budinger was a solid rotation player through his first six seasons in the league, but injuries and lack of playing time ultimately left him out of the Pacers' plans in 2015-16. Indiana waived him on March 5, and the Suns -- staggering from their own slew of injuries on the perimeter -- picked him up for the rest of the season.

The former Arizona Wildcat showed flashes of his athleticism and basketball IQ, including an eight-point, two-assist performance in a win over the Pelicans on April 9.

The Next Step

Budinger will turn 28 years old on May 1. Between that age and his natural athleticism, will be looked at by a number of teams in the free-agent market this offseason. He shot 67 percent in the restricted area, well above the league average (60.2).

He will need to show an improved stroke from long distance, where his accuracy dropped from 36.4 to 27.9 percent this season.
