What We Learned From #SunsAtBlazers

After a tough loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder less than 24 hours prior, the Suns traveled to Portland to take on the Blazers for the second time in four days.

In their game at US Airways Center on March 27, the Suns were in control for the majority of the game before the Blazers made a run in the fourth quarter to win 87-81.

In Monday's game, however, the Blazers were the clear aggressors from the start in a 109-86 win over the Suns.

A few takeaways:

3. The Blazers were absolutely on fire

There's no denying the Blazers are a very good team, but the Suns caught them on a night where Portland seemingly couldn't miss.

The Blazers shot over 50 percent from the floor and over 40 percent from the three-point line including 12 made three-pointers. They also shot over 90 percent from the free-throw line for a rare 50-40-90 stat line.

Portland poured in over 30 points in both the first quarter (31) and the third (37) in their win over Phoenix.

2. P.J. Tucker continues to play hard, surprising no one

P.J. Tucker has done a little bit of everything for the Suns this season, just as he's done every year he's been in a Phoenix uniform.

Against the Blazers on Monday, Tucker played nearly every position on the court at one point in addition to guarding Portland's best players.

Tucker finished with 10 points and led the Suns in rebounds with nine in 28 minutes of play.

1. T.J. Warren continues to impress

After scoring 18 points against the Thunder, T.J. Warren followed that up by tallying 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting in just 21 minutes off the bench against the Blazers.

If there was one bright spot in this game, it was certainly Warren's play.

The rookie seems to get more and more confident and comfortable with every game, and his ability to score the ball makes him very valuable for the Suns - especially considering his youth.
