Suns to Host NBA Draft Lottery Party on May 17

The Phoenix Suns will host a free NBA Draft Lottery party at Talking Stick Resort Arena on Tuesday, May 17, featuring appearances by Suns guards Eric Bledsoe and Ronnie Price. In anticipation of the NBA Draft Lottery, Suns fans will also have the opportunity to participate in a social media scavenger hunt this week for a chance to win a variety of exclusive prizes.

The NBA Draft Lottery party will take place on Tuesday, May 17 from 3 – 6 p.m. in the Casino Arizona Pavilion at Talking Stick Resort Arena. In addition to watching the Draft Lottery broadcast on the video board in the pavilion, fans will have the opportunity to meet Bledsoe (3:30 – 4:30 p.m.) and Price (4:30 – 5:30 p.m.) at the event. Those planning to attend the Draft Lottery party are encouraged to RSVP for at Suns.com/Lottery to be automatically entered to win a number of Suns prizes on Lottery night.

The 2016 NBA Draft Lottery will take place on Tuesday, May 17 in New York City. The event, which will determine where Phoenix will select in the 2016 NBA Draft, is slated to begin at 4:30 p.m. (MST) and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.

The Suns have a 37.8 percent chance of obtaining a top-three selection in the 2016 NBA Draft, with an 11.9 percent chance of landing the first overall pick. Phoenix has a 97.8 percent chance of having two Lottery picks in this year’s Draft, as the Suns hold the rights to the Washington Wizards’ first-round pick if that selection falls outside the top-nine.
