Atlanta Hawks CEO Steve Koonin announced Tuesday that the Club will retire Dikembe Mutombo's #55 during a ceremony Nov. 24. Mutombo will be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame Sept. 11. He won two Defensive Player of the Year awards with the Hawks and was one of the Club's best players in the 1990s. Tuesday was also Dikembe Mutombo Day in Fulton County.
