Schröder, Germany Qualify For EuroBasket 2015

Atlanta Hawks point guard Dennis Schröder scored 10 points on 4/7 shooting and had a tournament high-tying seven assists to help Germany qualify for EuroBasket 2015 with a 118-66 win over Luxembourg in the sixth and final game of the second qualifying round.

Schröder's somewhat quiet game was due in large part to the fact that his team didn't need him after dominating the second half, outscoring Luxembourg 75-28.  Schröder had seven points and six assists in a much more competitive first half.

For the tournament, Schröder averaged 15.3 points and 5.3 assists while shooting better than 57 percent from the field, including 43.5 percent from three.  He also made all 18 of his free throw attempts.

Germany needed to finish second or better in their group and not be the worst second place team among all second place group finishers.  By going 4-2, they punched their ticket to next summer's event.
